This company sells siding and gutter to residential homeowners and provides free estimates. The sales individual was nice, but BUYER BEWARE their estimates and take-offs are not legit and should be considered fraud. For their siding estimate they measured the dimensions of the exterior wall faces for siding square footages. Their fraud consisted of the following, they did not deduct the square footages for window and door penetrations, they considered areas with peaks as squares and not triangles, and their measurements rounded up on every value. As part of their estimate they said that all taxes and permit fees were included which totaled ~$2,160. When you deduct the $40 permit fee, I believe they charged a tax on the entire price of services (labor and materials) and not just the materials piece. As for some of their hourly estimates, I calculated that it would take a crew of four people three days+ to remove siding, soffit, fascia and gutters from three sides of the house. This company has fraud written all over it and I suggest people stay away and have them be investigated for fraud.
