Type of a scam Utility

Caller ID was from Xcel Energy. Usually, I let things go to voicemail. In this case, I was at a bday party and thought maybe I should answer in case there was a gas leak at home. I picked up and it was an auto-mated line that stated that Xcel was going to shut off my electricity soon because of no payments. If I wanted to make a payment right then and there, press a number and I will be routed to the payment line.

I knew it was a scam right away because I have my payments automatically deducted from my bank. Also, I get text notifications every 2 weeks from Xcel. One is to let me know how much is due and will be withdrawn and the other one is to confirm that money was taken from my account.

2 days later, now I am getting missed calls from other scam numbers that have been reported around my city.
