Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

This company contacted the consumer stating he qualified for a loan of $5000 all he needed to do was pay $100 for the insurance. Customer purchased $100 google play card and read number to the company. He has called since to try and to get his loan, and they continue to hang up on him.

Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

The consumer was called a man who said he was from PNC Bank and that they needed her bank account to deposit loan proceeds of $5000. The man said claims consumers was approved for a loan, yet the consumer never applied to her knowledge. The PNC Bank rep asked for a capital one credit one credit card or a visa card to charge $100 for the wire transfer cost of the loan proceeds transfer the proceeds. The consumer contacted PNC bank they confirmed that there is no loan and they would call you like this to handle a loan.

On Thursday, April 6, 2017 approximately 3:52 pm, phone call from Melissa, " congratulations you have won a sweepstakes entry that you submitted 18 months ago and you have won a late model 2017 vehicle or the option to take the cash 25K, You have won and call me at 844.868.2747 ext. 429, Melissa".
