Type of a scam Credit Cards
A man called me and said that he had to confirm my information because I was eligible for a reward. He said that he had my name, address, and visa information. I asked him to confirm but all the information was old. He was pushy and upset saying that he was the manager of the company and wouldn’t risk his position if he was a scammer. He would get very defensive if I would question him as to why he had wrong information. Then I told I wasn’t interested, but he insisted and kept asking me to confirm my information. I told him no thank you and hung up.
While we were on the phone I got two calls from the same number that my phone recognized and labeled “spam risk”.
