Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received an email saying I have four thousand dollars from a friend of mine who is in Russia working. He sent the money via of paymentwiseonline.com. I have gotten several emails saying the money is ready for pick up, all I have to do is send the ten percent fee, which would cost me four hundred dollars, don’t have the four hundred dollars to start with, but really need the four thousand, IF this is real. I have my doubts, which is why I’m contacting you for help. I would appreciate anything you can find out for me.. Thank you very much!
