Type of a scam Online Purchase

Had an advertisement pop up in facebook for a great deal on new gaming computer systems. I was leery but figured it was an ad from facebook so it had to be a little more reputable. I looked through the comments and everyone was very happy with their purchases. I looked on ScamPulse.com and didn’t see any reports for the company so I took a gamble and placed an order on their website at www.overstockgaming.com. Within an hour I received a reply back thanking me for my order with my order #, a phone number to call if I had any questions, and an email for support. My email stated I would receive another email with my tracking information in it. A couple days goes by and I check the website to see that it is no longer active. I emailed the support email and got a response back within an hour again stating they had so much traffic that their servers crashed and would be back up and running in a couple hours. Sure enough a couple hours later the site was back up and running. Another day goes by and I receive an email stating my order had shipped and that I would receive another email with the tracking number in 2 days. Another 2 days goes by and no email so I email the support email to get a bounce back stating the email no longer works. I called the phone number and it was a text to cell number service. Complete scam that I fell for. After doing a WHOIS search turns out it is a company registered in Panama. Don’t fall for it like I did.
