Type of a scam Investment

I was contacted by Gerald *** *** from facebook group that has hard money lenders, private money lenders, wholesalers, and people looking to purchase whole sale property. Gerald had posted that he lends out his own personal money. On June 7th 2019 Gerald emailed me his terms. The emailed continued until thursday sept 12 2019. On 6/29/2019 he sent me his driver’s license, a picture of holding his DL, cert of organization from Missouri and Articles of Organization in an email. I looked up the business name on Missouri Secretary of State and the business said the business is active. The first $1000 that I gave him was on 8/26/2019 due to this being our first transaction together that nothing was mentioned about this $1000 until after I paid it. Then the second deposit was on 9/11/2019 for $1775. Both deposits were into a bank of america account (I have both account numbers). I have not received my money and I have asked several times for my money back or I was going to report him and Gerald will not answer my phone calls, text messages or my emails.
