Type of a scam Yellow Pages/Directories

Yellow Pages Directory Spring Edition 2016. We received a fax stating that THIS IS NOT A BILL, asking us to confirm and update our Contact Information. Fax had Yellow Pages logo ( walking fingers on open book). We filled out and sent back,thinking that it was actually Yellow Pages updating our info. This was on 1/11/16. On 2/6/16, we received an Invoice from Open Business Solutions, that was dated 1/29/16, (a week earlier), stating that we owed $1,188.00 for a 12 month listing fee on www.yellow-pages-usa.com. We were confused…called number on Open Business Solutions invoice and spoke with someone still stating that we owed the money. We told them to cancel. Received another invoice on 3/4/16,with bold lettering Third REMINDER stating that we still owed $1,188.00 for 12 month listing. We contacted again and someone told us to send an email to their Administration Office stating our complaint. We emailed a letter on 3/16/16. On 4/11/16 we received a response letter by USPS, that was dated 3/31/16, saying they had received our emailed letter, and still saying we owed the $1,188.00. But,this time it said they would agree to reduce our contract from 2 years to 1 year! All other papers had said 12 months (1 year ) for $1,188.00. The way it was written started throwing flags also, program was spelled programme, instead of actually saying Open Business Solutions in the letter, it said "The Company". Stay away from this!
