i was contacted by OK Post international via phone and email. they offered me an employment contract that looked very legitimate. I was instructed to receive packages via UPS, USPS, Fedex. I was asked to open packages, inspect them, take photos of products and invoices, then pack them up again and await a new shipping label that they would share on their dashboard. Occasionally, a couple of guys would contact to check on my progress. I filed a complaint with USPS and a Police report was issued for my protection.

Type of a scam Employment

During job hunting OK Post reached out to me for a shipping inspector job. Stating that their clients need to have perfect quality goods delivered to them purchased from online sites. It pays $560 a week for 2 hour a day work. Sounded far too good to be true. I started digging around on their site (hard to find via a search engine) which initially looked well. However, the more I used the site the more unfinished things where. I decided to call them in order to find out a couple of things 1) how long the application process took and 2) why the address given on their site was for a medical building’s parking lot. The call went to an automated machine that asks for the extension of the party (I had one for the HR person, but wanted to talk to a regular employee). However, after a few minutes of ringing the phone went directly to the HR persons answering machine. Very odd indeed.

Finally after doing some research online about repacking companies it all came together, and I realized this job was, in fact, a front to move illegal goods. Which I could easily be caught up in… and possibly face jail time. So instead of just moving on with my life I decided to file this so others can be protected.
