Type of a scam Tech Support
Received a pop-up in Google Chrome that indicated my computer was locked by Microsoft and that I needed to call the listed phone number for support. When I called I was told they would have to do scans and wanted to charge me $199 for the support. My wife informed me this was a scam and that I just needed to hang up.
