Type of a scam Credit Cards

I had a similar experience to another complainants on above. I was told that I’d receive the face cream as a gift for the cost of shipping only ($4.95 or so). In my case, this would be in response to completing a survey for Walgreens that came in a link through my email. Since I use Walgreens a lot, I believed this was a valid offer through them. I received the lotion and then in a few weeks I saw an $89.95 charge on my bank account from this company/Nuvacare. I called the company who issued the bank charge (Nuvacare) immediately – the same day as the charge. The guy was very rude – saying they "had all my information" and repeating that I had "agreed to this charge unless I cancelled within 12 days." I NEVER agreed to this and I WOULD NOT HAVE AGREED to it.I check for these types of traps and it was not in the language. He also tried to intimidate me by saying that if I dispute it with my bank, then the bank will just charge me even more for the dispute. (Again, another false claim.) He also said it was never a reward and had nothing to do with Walgreens. The email was clearly soliciting a survey for Walgreens though, He eventually offered a 35% return. I said that I expect a full return because it was taken without my agreement and I was calling immediately upon seeing the charge. I think that’s only fair. Then the manager called me back offering 50%. Again, I said that I expect a full return because I did not ever agree to this. Their computer system may have my computer ID and a time of day (that’s what he said), but they definitely do not have any electronic signature from ME about THESE TERMS. Totally false advertising and unethical service.
