Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I posted an item on Craigs list and immediately received several texts about purchasing the item. Buyer said they would send me a certified check and offered me $50 more to remove the listing and hold the item until i received the check. after several days of waiting i received a check but it was not a bank check but a check from what seemed to be some escrow account of some sort. The check was for $1000. above the agreed upon price. The next day I received a text saying that a mistake had happened and the money for the "moving company" that was to pick up the piece had been included and would i please deposit the check and write out another check and send it to the moving company. Obviously they were waiting for me to send them my own money and the very authentic looking check would never have cleared.
