Type of a scam Debt Collections

I was contacted by Nationwide Recovery Association about a debt collection. I asked the the person who contacted me to please provide me with a validation notice in writing and he said he would email me one. I repeated no I need it in writing. Then I asked for the company name, physical address, and phone number. He only gave me the company name and number but refused to give me the address. This person who called me did so repeatedly up to a total of almost 30 times in a 2 hour period.
