Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

Saw an ad on Facebook that stated if you went to the University of Phoenix, you could have your student loan debt forgiven. They even have the ScamPulse.com logo on their site! I Received a call within minutes. After several “get to know you” questions, They asked for my log in to the Federal Student Aid so they could “check my eligibility. I refused & hung up. I went into the FSA website and filed my own claim. The following day, I received a text message (see below). Thinking it was the Federal government returning my call, I called them back. She stated she was from the “loan center” and sent me a code to access my “file”. At that time, I did not know she was not from the Federal Student Aid Department. What she actually did was try to get into my account, clicked the “forgot password” and the system sent me a code. She told me that her system just sent me a code to verify who I was. Once I gave her the code, she changed my password and accessed my account. She kept me on the phone for about 10 minutes and then stated that they would need $1200 in the next 4-months to “help me” now that they verified my eligibility. This is a total scam. I’m positive they stole my identity. I received an email from the Federal Student Loan Center that tipped me off that they had accessed my account fraudulently.
