Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I received an email what appeared to be from Amazon as an rewards member stating that I had been randomly selected and won a $1000 Amazon gift card. To obtain my prize to provide name, address, phone number, date of birth and gender. After completing that I was then redirected to several other websites with the same promise to receive the gift card to answer a survey, then to select an award gift and I would receive the gift card. After answering a long survey I was then prompted to do one more reward and when I did it prompted me again to obtain another reward. Seek to say I never received the Amazon gift card. I sent an email to the company [email protected] to voice a complaint and I called 1-888-780-3869 and received a voicemail.
