Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I answered a email, signing up to be a secret shopper. He (Scott Dean) contacted me threw text. Stating I would be be receiving a package with instructions on what to do. It stated I was to deposit the check into my account, in which I cashed it. Then I was to go to Best Buy and purchase 2 gift cards totaling $500.00 each. So I did and took a picture of the receipt, the survey, and the gift cards with the information scratched off. Then stating I would receive another package stating to instructions as what to do with the gift cards. Well long story short the check came back on my account and the gift cards have 0 balance on them. I did actually receive two more checks from them.
