A few years ago, my husband and I decided to do a home modification so we can lower the mortgage payment so we found MRC Consuntant Corp. We made an appointment and she told us that she was gong to help us. In order to do the modification we had to stop making the mortgage payments. The modification get their money they will send us some papers which we never get. Now the bank is charging us 48,000 with late fees. 2 years ago we got some court papers telling us that we had to pay. I took the papers to her and she said that she was going to take care of it. One year late the bank sent me the mortgage statement I called her right away and and she said to take the papers to her that she was going to call the bank. I asked her If we should make the payments and she told me no that she was going to find out what happened. She said to call her later, so I tried to call her every week for about 2 months after that I call her again and every time I called her, her helpers always told me that she was not in the office. The last time I called her she hang on on me, I called her again and some one else answered and she told me that she was not there anymore. I called the bank and they said that they never received any payment for the amount of $8,000. Now we have to pay about $48,000. I feel really disappointed.
