My Story

** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially “foster to adopt” the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay neuter/surgery**
This is the marvelous, Mojito! This sweet little girl was found on a farm as a lone and tiny kitten. Sweet Mojito has an estimated birthdate of 5/11/24, so she’s just about 11 weeks old. This wonderful little one has been lucky enough to spend her time in a foster home since coming to us, and she spent time with two other lone  kittens, who have since become her BFFs! Mojitos foster mom says that she is a very sweet little girl, but still a little on the shy side. Even though she’s still a tad shy, she still likes people (they have food and treats) and loves her foster siblings. Being so young, this little girl would do great in just about any home, including with children (they just need to be careful of her tiny size and be gentle with her),  dogs or other  cats. This sweetie pie would love to be adopted with a foster sibling (Seabreeze or Daiquiri), or other kitty companion (we have lots!), or at least have a feline friend in the home.  Kittens do SO MUCH better in pairs and when they have a friend. Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing! We want our furbabies and our adopters to have long term success and a house full of happy people and kitties! Would you like to meet this cutie patootie and maybe a sibling or other kitten too? If so, please fill out an application and schedule a meet and greet.
