Luckily I was able to call bull[censored].

I have tried looking into mystery shopping so when I received an email about it I was not surprised considering I had been browsing those options. Well I got an email stating I had been chosen and they would be sending me an envelope via fedex with further information. I got the email and it had Wal-Mart right on top but zero legitimate business titles. No Walmart headquarters address. Red flag right there. Second red flag is Wal-Mart doesn’t hire mystery shoppers.

The letter came with a $2600 check stating to cash it for 2 $1000 money orders and to keep $600 as compensation. They wanted me to cash the check in my own bank account first then withdraw the cash.

And once I got the money orders they wanted me to mail them back to them.

Just wanted to share to prevent anyone from actually falling victim to this. You cash that check and they will swipe your entire bank account
