I received a message from a dear and trusted friend who said he received a grant for $50,000 from Michael Batten, who is a trusted and honest person who gives money to people to buy a house, pay bills. I trusted my friend, but after I gave this man my address, and monthly income, I began to feel uncomfortable. It didn’t feel right. When he sent me the amounts I qualified for, and how much I had to pay for it, I knew it was a scam.
