Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

I received a call on Saturday afternoon to verify if someone in the house has Medicare. They have my number and name of household. Even tried to tell me to wait to speak with their supervisor when I started to question them if this is a scam. I told them no one would call on a Saturday to verify information. They then told me that they will contact me back on a weekday normal business hour. I just checked, Medicare does not contact individual(s) by phone.
