Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Got contacted by this guy wanting to buy a phone off of me online after seeing a Craigslist ad I posted.. Said he was gonna pay extra to ship it somewhere else as he wasn’t home at the moment.
Payment request went thru on paypal. But. When we received the email with details on what to do, we realized it was to be shipped in Ghana.
Got suspicious and looked it up.. it had happened before with an iPhone.
Same guy. Different phone number, but same name and location to ship.
Just glad I realized it right away before I shipped my phone.
