My son and I tried to buy a puppy through Love my pugs. We picked out the one we wanted, were told he was available, and if we acted fast we could get free shipping. They had two free shipping coupons left. We were told that they were a small breeder so they did not take credit cards. We were told to go to a Walmart and send the money though a money gram which we did. Next we were contacted by an airline, Eastern animal Express with a tracking #. Then we were contacted by the airline again with a urgent message that the puppy was in the wrong crate and we needed to send a refundable $730 for a crate. I contacted the breeder and asked him to fix the crate issue and was told he was out of town. Asked for a refund and haven’t heard back. They have also changed the breeders name on the website because I reported the previous name to the money gram service and the police.

Individual advertises himself as a PUG animal breeder. He then tries to get people to spend large amounts of money on insurance and shipping containers to transport the animal. We lost 1400 dollars trying to purchase an animal from this website.

We contacted the individual to attempt to purchase an animal (initially 650 dollar with chip). Then we were informed that it would cost $730 to have the animal shipped in a special container. Once this individual received this money, they attempted to get us to pay $800 in insurance to have the animal shipped. At this point we contacted the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (Case number 0985) and reported this as a scam.

Tried to purchase a Pug for my son. Was in contact with a Michael Compton. sent him the money through Walmart money gram. shortly after I received notice from an airline that he was going to be shipped with a tracking #. Than I received a urgent message from same airline that he needed a special crate and I need to go to Walmart and money wire an additional $730.00 for a crate. This is where I stopped. Please do not fall for this . It’s a scam. name of the airline is Eastern animal express.

I almost bought 2 pug puppies from these scam artists. I started to question the legitimacy when they requested payment by western union only. I was unable to wire from my bank account, pay with check or credit card. In addition, they would never answer my call only respond to my texts. The price sounded kinda cheap for pure bread pups plus the shipping costs didnt seem right. I then started to do a google search and social media search of the business and people running the business. I found nothing on the business or people running the business in Facebook or google. I did locate very bad reviews of the same problem I had on pet scams.com. Thats when i realized it was a total scam…
