Type of a scam Debt Collections

This is a harassing debt collector allegedly, calling all my family members telling them I they are trying to track me down to serve me "time sensitive documents". I called the number back in which actually they have so far used 2 different ones, tell me I have a small loan (250$)taken out from 13 years ago from a bank I never have banked at and they’re taking me court. When I started asking questions about who they were and where they were and exact date and location if the alleged loan they start to stumble and finally hung up on me.
