Type of a scam Online Purchase

2008 Roadtrek 170 offered for sale for $8000. Seller ("Caroline Herring") claimed that the vehicle was located at KVL Auto Shippers and that I was to pay them directly and then the vehicle would be shipped to me, that the money was in escrow and I had five days to decide if I wanted to keep the vehicle or not. If not, my money would be returned no questions asked. An invoice was sent to me for the vehicle but no vin # and no title copy and the escrow did not allow me to withdraw the money, I was simply asked to pay directly to them. There is a KVL website that looks legit so I was confused. When I called the number listed and asked for the vin number and a scanned copy of the title, the person hung up. Efforts to reach "*** ***" also went unanswered.
