Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
Told consumer they had won $500,00.00 in the sweepstakes. It would be delivered the middle of the week. The consumer 1st had to give them $7,500.00. When the consumer told them they didn’t have that kind of money they then said then send us only $750.00. Once the funds were sent then call 202-900-4133 to verify your winnings. The consumer told them I shouldn’t have to pay to get my winnings and the caller hung up.
