This company Just Press Play (previously Up and Running) is a business that started out doing Audio / Visual install. I used them in the past as Up and Running for TV and Theater installation. The work in past was fine. I recently contact the owner Mike Jackson and he shared that he had changed the name to "Just Press Play" and that he was now doing Basement Finishing. We started on the Baseement paid him a deposit of $3000 to start the framing. His framer came and finished the framing in about 7-10 days. We also paid him a to install several A/V component and televisions thru his supposed reseller license. We paid $4,708.70 and he never provided the services nor did he deliver the equipment, Concurrently we paid him $5100 to start the plumbing, electrical and order materials for the drywall and installation. We then never heard back from him. It has been 6 days since our last communication.
