Type of a scam Phishing
Male said his name with Deputy J Johnson a federal marshal and that I missed a Federal Jury Summons and his phone number was 208-391-6112 Badge # 95401. Said that they sent a summons to not my address and that I would have to come and give a writing sample to prove I didn’t get the summons. Said I would be arrested and spend at least 14 days in jail and up to 31 days if I didn’t do as he requested. I called him a scam and told him I would call the marshal’s office and if he was there would then talk to him. I did call and of course he was not there and no one by that badge # was there. More people should know about this scam.
