I had the same experience as Jean Black did [above] – the initial text I got was from 701-402-5498 asking me to contact Mrs. Cindy Marcus via Skype. I did and answered the same questions and got a 91out of 100 as well. They actually sent me a check for $2,920.00 via FedEx over night. No signature required and the check looked real but felt like a thin piece of paper. The name on the check was from the Fassett Group, LLC and the check # was 100. Fishy for sure. Then there was a note in the FedEx package asking me to send a deposit slip with my banking account information. Of course I didnt do that. I am going to be contacting the FBI for this.

Received text messages from a potential employer. They claimed to be from the Career Builder team and gave the name Denise Woodard who is not on LinkedIn and Google searches only provide information on the founder of a non-profit. Then they claimed to be Joincare Pharmaceuticals which is a company headquartered out of China which has no employee reviews to be found. The texts had poor grammar and were obviously pre-established. After 3 or 4 texts back and forth, the "Human Resources Officer" was ready to conduct the interview immediately. After they asked to get on Skype or Google Hangouts, I found the scam report about a woman in Greensboro who went through the same thing. I told them I was not interested and the response was "k"

The position available are Management / Leadership / Supply Chain / I.T Support / Specialist In All Positions / Financial & Business Analyst position and Data Entry with a pay of $35 hourly.We would like to know if you are interested?
Then I responded that I was interested. Then he responded with this text message:

I replied that I have WhatsApp.
Then he replied with this:

I couldn’t find the number on WhatsApp, so he added me instead.
He wrote that he is HR online interviewer. He introduced himself as Mr Hancock and he is 52.
He said the company is based in China and they’re looking to expand in the US. He added that they are hoping to hire individuals to work from home. He said they they will help to set up an office for me at home. Also, he said they will be responsible for cost of setting up the office and in order to test my trust, they will give me a $50 bonus. Regarding the software required to do the job, they will direct me to a particular vendor where I will purchase them. He wanted to know whether I have a mobile bank app, which I told him I don’t. He said he is told that the check for the software will be emailed to me so that I can print it and do a mobile deposit.
Through out our conversation I knew he was lying because HR doesn’t work that way. At this point, I sent him a message telling him to do himself a favor and get a job. I also told him he is fooling himself. He became angry.
