Frye’s to buy ostrich chicks. Was told to pay for delivery fee and remainder on arrival. During deliver required to pay for half of birds cost due to distance of deliver. Then told delivery driver had a fatal accident. Now I was demanded to pay extra 250 for another delivery even when I wanted to pick up the chicks from the start. After everything I tried to get my money back but they now claim a 150 refund fee must be payed before I can get my 650 refunded. And it will still take 60 days to refund.

Messaged for Craigslist add. Buyer immediately wanted full name and address to send a check. Claimed to be hearing impaired and could only communicate through text.

Placed an ad on Craigslist for car. Scammer contacted from out of state and wanted the car site unseen. Said he would send a cashiers check and someone to pick up the car after the check has cleared and funds are available to me. Check came and it was for $1500.00 more than our agreed on price. He asked us to cash the check and wire him back the extra money. The check had a nonprofit name on it from NY, the return address on the envelope was from CA and the person who contacted me is from MA. Told him that with all the strange addressing I will not be cashing anything and will be reporting him to anyone and everyone I can.

I received a call on my cell phone. A normal sounding voice said "This is John on a recorded call. Can you hear me?" Without thinking I automatically answered yes. Only later did I recall hearing about such a scam.

John calls to get you to say yes to his question of "can you hear me" claims he is a medical specialist. I blocked his number due to repeated calls and after googling the phone number, found out it is a scam. He never left a message . I don’t answer calls from unknown numbers but he can maybe due some damage. The number is 808-774-7250. Please stop this guy!

"Hello this is John with (Government office) then he says "can you hear me now?" I hung up. But

pretty sure it’s the scam I’ve been hearing about.
