Type of a scam Debt Collections

I first received a call from someone saying they were a locating company That was already suspicious to me as I’ve been in the same house work the same job and have the same number for over 20 years, not hard to find!

And they gave me a number saying there was a complaint against me I called and she said I owed money $924 she could get it down to 234.

I told her I don’t give that information over the phone she did however no my address the last four of my social security number and my name!

Wondering if they got this from a credit score website as I was trying to fix my credit since my husband died.

I did not pay them!
