Type of a scam Online Purchase

I posted on Face book I was looking for a Basset hound puppy in my area. I was contacted via Messenger from Mbah,John.Face book account name. Aka John Nelson. he stated he was in Tampa and had a puppy I asked for pictures of it along with the parents. and asked more questions regarding the puppy, he answered me so I asked price and deposit amount.I payed 300.00 deposit through Zelle pay. then he stated I needed to send him 250.00 more to transfer AKC paperwork. he sent me paperwork then stated i needed to pay the balance the day I was to receive the puppy. I fell for it and sent him the balance of $150.00 via zelle again. then he had a [email protected] send me an email stating i had to pay $1000.00 to the vet to release the puppy. that’s when I knew i was scammed I contacted my bank and zelle And was told all they could do noting for me but can flag his account. I have reported this to every one I could and have only heard from one agency. $750.00 lost but Karma will catch up with this guy.
