Not my 1st time encountering this scam but the first time through email, usually it is through text. Basically, the scammer, through broken English, requests a job to be done and asks if I accept credit cards as payment. In every occurrence, the address they give for the work to be done is a house currently on the market. They give a sob story about how they are out of the state so they can’t meet directly but they want me to charge them a deposit on a credit card. Its highly suspicious, so when you request them to show up or a phone call, they cease correspondence.
