or for any other person associated with them, they are scamming jet charter operators out of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

They will give you a credit card which will be denied. They will then provide you with a authorization number they claim to have received from the credit card issuer. Somehow this tricks the system into issuing an approval. The credit card company will then back bill the operator the funds. This can take a few months, long after the trip has been completed.
