Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency
When call the came through it was a teenage sounding girl voice saying she was in jail in Memphis. She needed money for bail and requested I call her attorney, Jason Thomas. Mr. Thomas happened to be right there and got on the phone to speak with me. While I knew it was a scam, he had my 19 year old granddaughter’s real name. I did not stay on the phone to see how much they were seeking in their scam. I checked to see what was the last number who called me and it said 555-555-5555. This is happening to me and several friends.
