Type of a scam Online Purchase

I replied to their email to purchase a puppy via email. I also called the number they provided and left a message. The following day I received an email from a, "David Myers." He told me he sent an email to me and I should check out the most recent pics and reply. I did and i replied. No response. I checked out their home page on their website given and the name of the founder says Jason Cooper. The email address is from a Jason Myers. So, I sent a text asking why the names did not match. They responded saying, "I am Jason Cooper. Jason Myers is my brother." If they are brothers, why not the same last name? I sent another text asking who David Myers was. And, told them none of this makes sense. They responded by saying, "Stop asking stupid questions."
