I received a call from an unknown number in my area code but I didn’t answer. The caller called back in less than a minute so I answered thinking it was an emergency. The voice on the other end said "This is Jared, can you hear me?" Without hesitation I replied "Yes" and then the caller hung up. I instantly realized I may have been scammed so I blocked the number on my cell phone, canceled my credit cards and I’m reporting the number to you now.
