I was contacted by email to provide a proposal for a land survey in Jefferson Parish. After he accepted and signed the proposal, he sent it back to me via email and asked that I send him my phone number so he could text me his credit card info. I told him I would not do that, but since he obviously had access to a phone to call with his credit card info. He then sent an email explaining that he was in the hospital and could not make calls and since he was unexpectedly in the hospital, could I also charge his card for his architects fee because his architect did not have facility to accept credit card payment. I recognized this as a scam and told him I would be reporting it.
