My Story
Ivan is a 1.5 year old Lab mix who is as sweet as he is handsome! Ivan is a very well-mannered gentleman who has been very laid-back and loving here at the shelter. Ivan loves headscratches, giving gentle kisses, and walks well on a leash. We believe Ivan would do well with children thanks to his more calm demeanor, but we always suggest bringing your children to meet any dog that you might be adopting. We have not seen Ivan with dogs or cats. We think Ivan would love to find a home where he can enjoy laying around on the couch and snuggling with his favorite humans. Ivan has one of those faces that you just want to give kisses to all the time! It is hard not to fall in love with Ivan, and we hope that means he gets into his furever home very soon!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
