Type of a scam Moving

My daughter Hired a moving company on NY Craigs list. She she booked a date for 1/23/16 to move from Manhattan to New Jersey. My husband and I went to accompany her with the move. My husband shoveled the snow outside her door so the moving truck could park. After numerous calls and texts that day, A white truck showed up. Before my husband could tell them where to park, a man jumped out and the truck took off. As he was ringing the bell to get in, my husband asked him if he was there to move his daughter. He replied in an accent yea,yea in what sounded like a Russian accent. He got buzzed in and by the time I got back to my daughter he was already gone. He told her he needed $145.00 cash deposit and gave her a generic receipt. He told her he would be right back. My husband was right outside and did not see him leave. After waiting about 15

min. she tried calling them and they said they were trying to park. They never came back!
