Type of a scam Online Purchase

This was to purchase a puppy. I was emailing with a person from the website named Paul Frank. I was to send the money via Money-Gram (a total of $650.00). with shipping free. We had several emails between us including AKC papers showing myself as owner of the puppy. The final being that they needed an extra $750.00 for shipping Ins. I informed them I did not want to purchase the insurance and to ship as is. This all took place on Sunday Feb 13th, 2017. As of Feb. 14 still not word rom them and we are unable to contact them by phone, email or website.
