Type of a scam Employment

An employment ad in our local newspaper (we live in a rural area) said an Accounts Receivable Rep was needed and only gave an email address. So I sent an email, and what they sent me was an email that basically said they were in China and needed someone in America to:

1. Receive payment from Customers

2. Deposit payments at your banks and wait for it to clear into your account

3. You will deduct 5% which will be your percentage/pay on Payment processed

4. Forward balance after deduction of percentage/pay to any of the offices you will be contacted to send payment to.

This sounds like a legit shell company issue. The website they provided was not well prepared. I took the name they included with the link for the website and googled it separately and what came up was a company that was not the same as this website. In addition when I did look at their website, it popped up a name, Dragonshine, that had nothing to do with the URL. When a URL listed is not the same as the name that shows up, it is concerning to me.

It appeared to me that their website combined two other textile manufacturers into their own made up website. In the details of their website, it said that they employed only around 70 workers. Why are they reaching out to our local rural area for a company in China that has so few workers?

At a glance one of the things that the website said, was they were getting ready to release a new 2013 summer textiles. It is actually 2019.
