Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

This company approached me via text and asked if I would be interested in advertising for them by having a wrap installed in my car and driving it at least twice a week for $ 1,000/month. After a few weeks they got back to me and said that I had been approved for the program. They than mailed me a check for $ 1500.00 and pressured me to get the check deposited quickly. They included a one page note with the check stating they had had previous scheduling conflicts with the installation techs so they wanted me to pay the tech $ 1000.00 directly. The text message reference, the stationery with the note, and the postage return address all had different company references. When I looked on the ScamPulse.com there were already six fraudulent check complaints filed. I forwarded my contact these complaints he was still so indignant and insistent they would never send a fake check, I couldn’t believe his boldness. He still pressured me to go through with this deal? Unbelievable!!!!!
