Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

Was told that as long as I paid a $4.99 shipping fee, I would be given a 14 day trial period to try some vitamins. If I didn’t absolutely love them I would be able to cancel as long as it was in the trial period, otherwise I would be billed at the normal monthly rate. As expected, I noticed a charge for $4.99 appear on my bank statement, but several days later there still was no delivery. I went back to the bank statement to see that there was no phone number listed for me to call with inquiries, so I searched the internet looking for the website I had been at but to no avail. I was uable to get any information on the company until what they called "the trial period" was over. I noticed a charge coming from the same company in the amount of $89.99 on my bank statement, and this time there was a toll free number listed. I immediately called the number, told them that I had never received the product, was no longer interested in trying it, and asked to be refunded/cancelled instead. The sales rep told me that he realized that there never was a shipment sent out because theremailing address that was listed on the form had been incorrect, and he immediately offered me a 50% discount on my next shipment. I told him that I never had a chance to try it an honestly at that price I had no desire to try it anymore and again I asked to be refunded and cancelled. The sales rep was very rude and told me that since I had not called in before the "trial peiod" was over that I would not be able to receive a refund. The only thing he could do is get the product sent out to me. I asked to speak with a supervisor, he told me that there were no supervisors, and eventually he just hung up on me without coming to any sort of agreement. I called the number back and a woman answered my call this time. After explaining everything out to her, she said she could not do anything at all with my account becsause it had alrady been cancelled. I tried to explain that there is no trial period for a product that never arrives, and that I had no contact information to use for issues such as this, she looked into the notes that the last rep had put in on our previous call, and immediately started telling me the same thing that the last rep had said. I argued that if they noticed a problem with the shipping address, why wouldnn’t they call me to get it corrected? Then there could have been a trial period to work with.Eventually she hung up on me as well. The date that I started my free trial was on the 20th of February, when I called and asked to be refunded it was March 5h.That would be 13 days, yet they refused to give me a refund. No product was shipped, and no attempt was made by the seller to correct the issue thst prevented the product from being shipped. There are no websites or phone numbers for this company that can be easliy located. There are o supervisors to speak to, so if an agreement cannot be made between the customer and service rep, the end result will be termination of the call by the service rep.
