I have received phone calls at my place of employment from several false phone numbers from Grey Cloud Recovery claiming to have a complaint about me from a second or third party. When I ask to have paperwork sent to me they become irate and rude. A man claiming to be Mr. Weinburg is the one who I am forwarded to when I ask to speak to someone of authority. I initially speak to someone named Teresa E. who says she is transferring my calls to Mr. Weinburg. They will not confirm a company name other than saying they were hired by a private party to collect a debt. I have asked on several occasions that they cease and dissist contacting me and bothering family members. Which they perisist on continuing. They threatened me by saying they will have me fired. I wish to file a harassment complaint as well as a cease and desist order against them. I have contacted authorities in my vicinity who have advised me to keep informing them they are infringing on my rights. Which I have continued to do every time they contact me.

This company called my personal cell phone claiming that they were looking my father to "serve" him with a civil case dealing with fraud. They informed me that my father would have to pay $9,000, which included legal fees. They asked if my father had an attorney’s contact information. After several questions and confusion, they said they would drop the charges if we paid $5,276.36 with in 24 hours. They would only be able to take the money via electronic wiring. I contact the actual collection company listed on my father credit report and they told me "do not pay this company". The amount Grey Cloud asked for was no where near the actual amount my father owed. This company has access to all my father personal information to include social security number, family information and contact information, and place of employment.

I felt targeted, this company contacts family members because they know family is willing to help in tough times.
