Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency

Caller claimed to be my granddaughter, and sounded like her voice. Said her and 3 friends were stopped for speeding on their way home from a concert. claimed dope was found in their rental car. Needed $2,000 for bail. She connected me to the bail person. The person was excellent in her part. I knew my granddaughter would never need me to send money as she makes over $125,000 and owns her own new home. I talked to my granddaughter and verified it was a scam.
