Type of a scam Government Grant

Received a call from someone in Washington D.C. who said they were with the government grants department and were supposed to give grants to 15,000 people with no bankruptcy. They had a callback # listed of 202-594-8859. I called them back and that’s when they told me that I would need to send $250 for any further info. Called ScamPulse.com who told me that it was a scam.

Type of a scam Government Grant

Someone called me and told me that we were give 9,700 from the government grants. All we have to do is go to the store and purchase an iTunes gift card for 250$ to pay for the transfer. Then call them from the parking lot of where I purchased the I tunes card at (202) 552-***  and talk to michael or james and tell the my grant id # is 1602 Then go to western union to give them the card and they will release to me the money of 9700 even though western union can only give 5000 at a time.

I’m supposed to call them back at 3 today with the iTunes card number.
