Type of a scam Tech Support

I received a phone call from Google computer. I do not have their phone number. Said this is from computer tech. Asked if anyone had a Google computer. Someone is doing scams on the computer.They had my husbands name. I have not had a computer over twenty years. They mentioned a check for $300. They did not ask for money or personal information. How can they see activity on my computer when we don’t have one.
