Type of a scam Debt Collections

I first got a call from a Blocked Number asking me when I would be home in the next two days so that they could come "Serve me with Papers." When I asked what it was about, she gave me the company name Gaffney and number 888-203-0867. She also gave me a Delivery ID Number. When I called the number, I was transferred to a man named Mark who told me I had an outstanding debt from 2011 with Best Buy and that I was going to be served with papers to appear in court for two "Civil Suits" if I did not pay. Knowing that this debt was paid off back in 2012, I told him I refused to pay more money until I had an official Notice stating the specifics of the case. Mark told me they had sent one out already and would not be sending another one. He informed me to call back the next day with my personal information (name, address, social security number, account number and amount paid) to prove I had paid the debt. I called back after hours to find out what their voicemail said and it is a Practice called GMS group with a voicemail for a woman named Jessica Russo. I never called back with my information and when contacting Best Buy, they informed me I was not their first complaint of this fraud.
