On 09/21/18 I clicked on a chicken recipe on facebook my computor screen was immediately taken over with a big red stripe and a non stop voive saying my computor had been taken over by a pornographic site. Call microsoft immediately to correct. I called the # they proceeded to look over my computer from their end and said there are viruses in my computor, James Lin called me on phone from # 1 844 207 8341 ext 1022 saying I needed a network security firewall system cost 250.00 for three years, they transferred me to a Rick Martin who was very pushy wanting me to pay 700.00 dollars for a lifetime plan. I said no. He persuaded me to buy the 3 yr plan for 272.50 including tax. He insisted it would be a one time check payment. I fell for this and gave him my bank routing and account number. He said I could cancel my check if I thought they were not sincere. Check was to A GRADE SOLUTIONS. They printed out a receipt with instructions if anyone else called I had to ask them if they knew my account # and hang up if they did not know it. They said their company was www.getgeeksource.online/. I realised when reading your website on scamming the next day. This had happened to me, so I had to pay for a complete tune up, removal of viruses, malware etc at Staples. Freeze my bank account, obtain a new account, inform all the utilities, etc , change the cable modem and all my passwords. I was influenced by their scare tactics, lesson learned thank heavens. The company have even left a voice mail on my phone, probably when they could not get into my bank account. I worry they are still preying on their next victim. Their help line is 1 833 814 9111. !! The money I incurred was the cost to remove malware at Staples, this has been a very stressful week.
